Why does VitaProva show a range instead of a number?

Because the uncertainty is real, and a single number hides it. We show the band the true value is most likely to fall in, and we publish how often it actually does on the benchmark page. You can tap a range to see the single point estimate if you want it.

Do my meal photos get uploaded?

No. There is no upload path for images anywhere in VitaProva. The privacy page lists everything that does leave your device.

Why is the range wider sometimes?

Because the evidence is weaker. A phone with a depth sensor gives a better volume estimate than one without; a dish photographed in a bowl you told us about is less certain than a flat plate we can measure against. When we are less sure, the range widens and the app says why rather than hiding it.

Can I turn the calorie numbers off?

Yes, and you keep full logging. See safeguards.

How do I cancel?

In your App Store settings, not in the app — see the subscription terms. Deleting the app's data does not cancel a subscription.

How do I delete my data?

Use the deletion form.
